Job summary

Brockman Engineering in Williamstown, Victoria seeks a Mechanical Fitter to join our on-site project team. You will install, assemble, maintain and repair mechanical components on large steel structures.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. The role requires a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade and experience in tank construction or refinery environments, plus White Card, Confined Space, Working at Heights, a High Risk Licence and Electrical Spotter ticket.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
• Experience in tank construction, petrochemical or refinery environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings.
• Experience with mechanical assembly, pipe fitting and installation on large steel structures.
• Current White Card (Construction Induction).
• Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications.
• Valid High Risk Work Licence (e.g., EWP, Forklift, dogging).
• Valid Electrical Spotter ticket.
• First Aid certification.
• Available to start 11 November 2026.
