Job summary

TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for permanent full-time roles in Melbourne, VIC. The positions offer day shift work, with a pay rate of $50 per hour plus superannuation and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical fitting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently or within a team.
• Own standard tools; relevant trade qualification desirable.
• Current Australian working rights and Melbourne-based location.

Responsibilities

• Install pneumatic airlines and mount components.
• Run electrical looms and complete wiring terminations.
• Diagnose mechanical and pneumatic faults.
• Service, repair and maintain tankers and related equipment.
• Work to engineering drawings and workshop specs.
• Ensure work meets quality, safety and road transport rules.

The Role

Responsibilities

• Installing pneumatic airlines and mounting components
• Running electrical looms and completing wiring terminations within your qualifications and experience
• Diagnosing mechanical and pneumatic faults
• Servicing, repairing and maintaining tankers and associated equipment
• Working to engineering drawings and workshop specifications
• Ensuring work meets relevant quality, safety and road transport requirements
