Job summary

Tetris Labour Hire is seeking Mechanical Fitters for a Meadowbrook-based role, Brisbane area. You will perform gearbox assemblies, inspect serviced or repaired parts, and complete warranty orders while ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely delivery.

Applicants should have a completed trade apprenticeship, a Certificate IV, and current dogging and forklift licences, with experience in Brevini or similar products.

Qualifications

• Completed trade apprenticeship or equivalent (e.g. Fitter & Turner, Hydraulic Fitter).
• Current dogging licence with ability to safely attach loads to cranes.
• Current LF forklift licence.
• Certificate IV in a related discipline/trade.
• Experience with Brevini products or similar competitive products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble gearbox parts correctly and identify reasons when not possible, implementing solutions.
• Inspect products returned for servicing, repair or warranty claims.
• Organise and complete all service repair and warranty orders promptly and in an orderly fashion.
• Sort out problems that arise during repairs.
• Provide high quality repairs and perform final checks on all repair and warranty jobs.
• Assemble or convert products per work order specifications; test and inspect to meet quality standards.

Are you looking for a fresh start within the Mechanical Production and Service Industry? We are currently seeking Mechanical Fitters and Service for our client based in the Meadowbrook area to commence ASAP!

SHIFT TIMES:

Monday - Thursday 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Friday 8:00AM - 2:30PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have completed a Trade Apprenticeship or equivalent (E.g. Fitter & Turner, Hydraulic Fitter etc.)

Hold a current Dogging Licence and know how to safely attach loads to cranes

Hold a current LF Forklift Licence

Certificate IV in a related discipline/Trade

Have previously worked with Brevini products or similar competitive products

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assemble parts (for gearboxes) together correctly, and if not possible, identify the reason and implement the appropriate solutions, or seek assistance

Conduct inspections of products returned for servicing, repair or warranty claim

Organise and to complete all service repair and Warranty orders promptly and in an orderly fashion

Sort out problems that arise during the repairs

Provide high Quality of repairs and carry out Final check on all repair and warranty jobs

Assemble or convert products as per work order Specifications as directed. Test and inspect the product to meet and maintain the Quality standards

ROLE EXPECTATIONS:

Be able to interpret Job requirements & Engineering drawings from Work Orders

Ensure consistent product and service quality

Complete jobs on or before target dates

Ensure discrepancies are identified and the relevant personnel notified to ensure appropriate disposition or corrective action

Meet the requirements of the Brevini Management System and policies (including the Quality Policy, WHS etc), and participating in continual improvement of the system

Work effectively with customers, suppliers and the engineering team to achieve all milestones, and to trouble-shoot problems as they arise
