Job summary

Nucrew Pty in Southwest WA is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for ongoing maintenance and project works across leading lithium and alumina operations.

You’ll carry out preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment, helping ensure safe, reliable operation while working within experienced maintenance teams.

With multiple rosters, day and night shift rates, and quality camp facilities, these roles offer long‑term opportunities and a temp‑to‑perm pathway.

Qualifications

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter.
• Fixed Plant and/or Refinery maintenance experience required.
• Current Confined Space Entry (CSE).
• Current Working at Heights (WAH).
• Current EWP ticket.
• Rigging and Forklift tickets beneficial.
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
• Planned and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Component change-outs and equipment repairs.
• Working across fixed plant and refinery environments.

Rate: $75.48/hr (DS) | $84.00/hr (NS) + super on all hours | Weekly pay
Roster: Sportsman & Long Sportsman rosters
Location: Southwest WA
Accommodation: Quality camp accommodation provided

About the Role

You’ll be carrying out preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance across a range of fixed plant equipment, helping ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operation while working within experienced maintenance teams.

With multiple roster options, competitive day and night shift rates and quality camp facilities, these roles are ideal for experienced Fixed Plant Fitters looking for consistent work and long-term opportunities.
