Job summary

NUCREW is seeking experienced coded welders for ongoing maintenance and project works across leading lithium and alumina operations in Southwest WA.

You’ll be completing coded welding, fabrication and pipe fitting activities across piping systems, structural steel and associated fixed plant equipment, with a strong focus on safety, quality and workmanship.

• Proven coded welding experience within mining, fixed plant or industrial maintenance environments.

Rate: $75.48/hr (DS) | $84.00/hr (NS) + super on all hours | Weekly pay
Roster:Sportsman – 12hr DS/NS | Long Sportsman – 12hr DS only
Location: Southwest WA
Accommodation: Quality camp accommodation provided

About the Role
NUCREW is seeking experienced Coded Welders for ongoing maintenance and project works across leading lithium and alumina operations in Southwest WA.

You’ll be completing coded welding, fabrication and pipe fitting activities across piping systems, structural steel and associated fixed plant equipment, with a strong focus on safety, quality and workmanship.

Duties Include

• Coded welding across piping systems and structural steel
• Fabrication and pipe fitting activities
• Fixed plant maintenance and project works
• MMAW and FCAW welding on carbon steel pipe
• Completing work to required quality and welding standards
• Working safely within active mining and industrial environments
• Supporting maintenance teams across site operations

Requirements

• Proven coded welding experience within mining, fixed plant or industrial maintenance environments
• Ability to successfully complete a 6G MMAW/FCAW weld test on carbon steel pipe
• Current Confined Space Entry (CSE)
• Current Working at Heights (WAH)
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Construction White Card
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
