Job summary

Aston Advantage is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a 5-week FIFO shutdown from Queensland to Western Australia. The role focuses on pumps, valves and fixed plant at a major WA mine site.

Day and night shifts are available; 13 days on, 1 RDO. Flights, accommodation and meals are provided. Clean-shaven site requirement. Starts 14 September.

Job description

Mechanical Fitter (Pumps, Valves & Fixed Plant) | FIFO QLD to WA | $70–$80.50 flat rate | Clean-shaven site requirement.

Opportunity: 5-week FIFO shutdown for experienced Mechanical Fitters working across pumps, valves and fixed plant at a major WA mine site. Day and night shift available, with 13 days on / 1 RDO and everything covered from flights to accommodation and meals.

Experience: Mechanical fitter from a mining, fixed plant, industrial or quarry background, with solid hands-on experience across pumps, valves and plant equipment. Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets required.

Benefits: $70/hr days | $80.50/hr nights | Fly from anywhere in Australia | Flights, accommodation and meals covered | Gym, pool and tennis court on site.

Extras: Starts 14 September and runs for approximately 5 weeks. Clean-shaven site requirement. Client-paid medical can be completed in one day, with the required online induction completed before mobilisation.
