Job summary

Wire Industries in NSW is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician for a full-time permanent role. Based at our NSW site, you will contribute to assembling, installing and maintaining mechanical systems and plant equipment.

The ideal candidate has an AQF Associate Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience in manufacturing. Strong diagnostic skills, teamwork and proactive problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls.
• Organise and supervise inspection and maintenance of machines and plant.
• Utilise mechanical design and diagnostic testing software to support predictive maintenance.

Education

AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
