Job summary

Wire Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician for their NSW base. This full-time permanent role involves hands-on work with electrical assemblies, motor control systems and testing in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will have an AQF Associate Degree or higher and at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and good communication abilities. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per annum depending on experience.

Qualifications

• AQF Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
• Experience with electrical assemblies, motor control systems and repair/installation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and repair electrical assemblies, components and motor control systems.

Job Description

Wire Industries has a vacancy for an Electrical Engineering Technician at their business based in NSW.

This is a full-time permanent Position.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this position, you will have: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. At least three (3) years of relevant experience within a similar industry.

Exposure and understanding of manufacturing environments. Extensive knowledge of assembling, installing, and repairing new and modified electrical assemblies, components and motor control systems. Experience in undertaking electrical workshop functions such as installing assemblies for protection relays, metering and indicating devices.

Proficiency in electrical design and diagnostic testing software. Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.

Experience in working collaboratively within a team as well as working autonomously.

Remuneration: The successful applicant will have a salary within the range $90,000 to $100,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
