Job summary

Stanwell Power Station in Central Queensland is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Superintendent to set the strategic direction of our mechanical assets and lead reliability, performance and safety outcomes that keep Queensland powered.

Working with operations and maintenance leaders, you will influence major investment decisions, drive major maintenance and capital programs, and develop the next generation of engineers within Stanwell Corporation Limited.

Qualifications

• RPEQ qualified Mechanical Engineer with significant experience in power generation, mining or other asset-intensive heavy industries.

Responsibilities

• Drive mechanical engineering strategy, reliability and asset performance.
• Lead engineering risk management, governance and compliance.
• Deliver major maintenance, outage and capital improvement programs.
• Provide technical leadership for plant modifications and engineering solutions.
• Optimise asset life strategies, condition monitoring and long-term performance.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver safe, sustainable business outcomes.
