Job summary

Phillip Riley has an exciting new opportunity for an outstanding Mechanical Engineer. Responsibilities include designing and verifying mechanical and structural systems, and developing mechanical and process plans through development, qualification, and acceptance testing.

You will review specifications to develop mechanical layouts and identify initiatives to improve MTBF and equipment availability. The role also involves downtime data analysis, maintenance strategy reviews, and RCAs to prevent

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in mechanical engineering.
Ability to problem solve and understand complex problems.
Capability to manage mechanical engineering activities across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Design and verify mechanical and structural systems.
Develop mechanical and process plans through development, qualification and acceptance testing.
Review specifications and data to develop mechanical layouts.
Identify and drive initiatives to improve MTBF and equipment availability.
Perform downtime data analysis and review maintenance strategies to address emerging risks.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure corrective actions prevent recurrence.
Ensure engineering solutions maintain compliance and improve operating performance across plants.
Provide high-level mechanical engineering support to keep plants within design ratings.
