Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer based in Brisbane to join our Mining, Resources & Industrial team. You will deliver mechanical designs, calculations and technical analyses across a diverse portfolio of mining, minerals processing and bulk materials handling projects throughout Australia.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to studies and proposals, and help drive sustainable and innovative engineering solutions with exposure to major projects and mentors.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Mechanical Engineering and working towards or eligible for RPEQ registration.
• Experience delivering mechanical engineering projects within mining, minerals processing, bulk materials handling, manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of bulk materials handling equipment and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical engineering designs, calculations and technical analysis across mining and industrial projects.
• Prepare engineering deliverables: reports, specifications, data sheets, design calculations, 3D models and drawings.
• Support design of bulk materials handling systems including conveyors, transfer chutes, stackers and reclaimers.
