Job summary

Effective Airconditioning Services Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC experience to support estimating, cost analysis, drawing review and project administration. Based at our Ormeau office, you will run installation projects from start to finish and liaise with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

You will provide QA of work, manage budgets against scope and objectives, and travel to Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in HVAC systems.
• Read and understand plans, drawings and design specifications.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Effective Airconditioning Services Pty Ltd was established in 2004 to meet HVAC installation needs of the construction industry and also the ongoing maintenance requirements of the commercial, industrial and residential sector's. Due to continued growth within the commercial sector, we are looking to employ a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC experience to assist in estimating, cost analysis, drawing review and administrative duties.

Your Role:

Working closely with the Management Team in running installation projects from start to finish.

Liaising with stakeholders for a successful project delivery.

Providing Quality Assurance of work undertaken by staff.

Resolving and escalating project issues and ensuring strong lines of communication to all stakeholders is maintained.

Measuring project success again budget scope and business objectives.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience in HVAC systems.

Read and understand plans, drawings and design specifications.

Excellent time management and attention to detail.

This position is based in our Ormeau office with travel to sites in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast expected. On offer is a long term permanent role to the successful candidate. Company vehicle and phone will be provided.
