Job summary

Workfast is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians in Brisbane to join our growing team and deliver end-to-end installations of split, ducted, and commercial AC systems. You will read drawings, install complex ductwork, test and commission, and collaborate with site teams to ensure on-time delivery.

This full-time, Brisbane-based role offers a strong pipeline of local projects, a competitive base salary, and a company vehicle. You’ll work with a down-to-earth team focused on quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Requires trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• Extensive hands-on experience with HVAC installations and ductwork.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Commitment to site safety and quality workmanship.
• QLD Driver's Licence and Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• End to end installation of split, ducted, and commercial AC systems.
• Installing, modifying, and sealing complex ductwork.
• Reading and working from mechanical drawings, schematics, and scopes of work.
• Testing and commissioning new systems to ensure flawless operation.
• Collaborating with site supervisors and other trades to deliver projects on time.
• Maintain safety, professionalism, and quality on all sites.

We are looking for experienced HVAC Technicians who specialize in installations to join a growing team based right here in Brisbane. If you’re tired of reactive maintenance runs and prefer the satisfaction of building and installing systems from the ground up, this is the role for you.

Expect to get involved in:

• End to end installation of split, ducted, and commercial AC systems
• Installing, modifying, and sealing complex ductwork
• Reading and working from mechanical drawings, schematics, and scopes of work
• Testing and commissioning new systems to ensure flawless operation
• Collaborating with site supervisors and other trades to deliver projects on time
• Getting the job done safely, properly, and professionally
• We’re looking for tradespeople who know their stuff, back themselves, and work well when the job gets busy.

You’ll need:

• Relevant Trade Qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Current ARCtick (Refrigerant Handling) Licence
• Extensive hands on experience in HVAC installations and ductwork
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings
• A serious commitment to site safety and quality workmanship
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a crew
• Current QLD Drivers Licence and Construction White Card
