GaardTech is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer on the Gold Coast to develop cutting-edge mechanical systems for defence applications. You will take concepts through to production, with significant autonomy and technical ownership across diverse projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar).
• Experience creating technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Australian citizenship.

Responsabilidades

• Design mechanical systems and components from concept to production-ready specifications.
• Develop and maintain technical drawings, manufacturing drawings, and BoMs (Bills of Materials).
• Conduct design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise designs.
• Design, refine, and improve robotic systems and other specialised mechanical systems.
• Work with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are producible and cost-effective.
• Participate in prototype testing and iterative design improvements.
• Maintain documentation standards and design libraries.
