Job summary

GaardTech on the Gold Coast is seeking a hands-on Production Technician to join the robotics production floor. You will contribute to the assembly and manufacture of advanced defence systems, from wiring harnesses to battery packs and robotic assemblies.

This role requires practical experience in production, careful reading of drawings, and a strong commitment to quality. You will work closely with engineers to hit production targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Australian citizenship required.
• Competence with hand tools and soldering.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

We're looking for a hands on Production Technician to join our engineering team. You'll be working in a robotics production environment, contributing to the assembly and manufacture of advanced systems.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Competence with hand tools, soldering, and mechanical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable team player with good communication skills
• Australian citizenship required for this position

Desirable but Not Essential

• Experience with robotics, automation, or defence industry
• Familiarity with pick and place machinery
• IPC certification for soldering or wiring
