Qualifications

• 2 years proven experience as a Mechanical Design Drafter or similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor & Vault) to create detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and design standards.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, models, and documentation based on engineering specifications and sketches.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to understand design requirements and objectives.
• Utilise CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar) to create 2D and 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Participate in design reviews and design validation activities.
• Make necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback and testing results.
• Assist in creating bills of materials (BOMs) and technical reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining design processes and enhancing efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development and production.
