Job summary

AECOM is expanding its Water Infrastructure team in Perth, Australia, delivering mechanical designs for water and wastewater projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will contribute to design, review and approvals while maintaining high delivery standards.

You will work on a diverse range of projects, including plants, desalination, pumps and pipelines, and you will be mentored by industry leaders while also mentoring junior engineers to shape the next generation of experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering required; CPEng highly regarded.
• Demonstrated mechanical design experience in water/wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment.
• Knowledge of applicable design codes, standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical designs as part of the water infrastructure team across Australia and New Zealand.
• Provide mechanical engineering design advice, review and approvals to maintain delivery excellence.
• Work on major national and international water infrastructure projects including plants, desalination, pumps, pipelines and headworks.
• Mentor and develop emerging engineers while being mentored by industry leaders.
