Original Engines Co (OEC) is a proudly Australian manufacturer specialising in high-quality automotive engine remanufacturing. We are seeking a detail-driven Mechanical Assembler to join our Kilsyth workshop, a full-time role with training provided in a modern facility with on-site parking.

You will build engines to OEM specifications with precision, inspect components, and use specialised tools including articulated torque arms.

• Previous experience in assembly or mechanical aptitude.
• Skilled in using hand tools and precision assembly techniques.

Responsibilities

• Build engines to OEM specifications through precision assembly and attention to detail.
• Inspect, measure and prepare engine components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assemble a range of engine variants using detailed procedures and specialised tools.
• Perform engine testing, priming and final quality inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safety-focused work environment while contributing to continuous improvement.

We are looking for a detail-driven assembler to join our engine remanufacturing team. This is a full-time role with all training provided in our modern, state of the art, well-equipped workshop in Kilsyth.

What You’ll Do

• Build engines to OEM specifications through precision assembly and attention to detail.
• Inspect, measure and prepare engine components to ensure they meet strict quality and specification standards.
• Assemble a range of engine variants using detailed assembly procedures and specialised tools including articulated ergonomic torque arms.
• Perform engine testing, priming and final quality inspections to ensure every engine meets our high standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safety-focused work environment while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Hours of Work (38 hours/week):

• Mon–Thurs: 7:00am–3:30pm
• Fri: 7:00am–2:45pm
