Job summary

Workforce Success is recruiting for a permanent LV Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter near Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. Join an international equipment manufacturer in a modern workshop with secure, full-time hours and overtime opportunities.

Role focuses on assembling new mining controls and heavy machinery in a bench environment with no travel. You will handle mechanical and hydraulic assemblies and work with brand-new equipment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitter/LV Mechanic or similar.
• Mechanical assembly experience or strong mechanical background.
• Reliable, hands-on and keen for a long-term permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Assembling brand new mining controls and heavy machinery.
• Building submersible pumps, gas and oil lift systems, and jet and centrifugal pumps.
• Mechanical and hydraulic assembly work.
• Working on a bench at chest height, on brand new equipment.
• Being part of a modern workshop with an international business.

Our client is an international manufacturer of equipment for the oil and gas industry, and they’re looking for a Mechanical Fitter or LV Mechanic to join their team in a straight permanent, full-time position near Acacia Ridge. If you’re after secure, consistent hours in a modern workshop, this is the one. It’s a great move for LV mechanics who want to use their mechanical skills on something new.

The package

• Permanent full-time with overtime opportunities
• $45 /hr plus penalties
• Mon – Thu: 6:30am – 3:00pm
• Fri: 6:30am – 12:30pm
• All tools and uniform supplied
• Workshop-based environment, no travel
