Zusammenfassung

Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is seeking a Mechanic to join our Canobie station team in Queensland's Gulf Country. You will maintain and service station equipment, and support repairs on bores, pumps and fleet vehicles.

The role requires a trade qualification, an HR licence and at least 1 year in a similar hands-on position. You will work in a supportive team environment with ongoing training and remote site amenities.

Qualifikationen

• Trade qualification or equivalent as a mechanic.
• Current HR licence.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong organisational and prioritising skills.
• Ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Aufgaben

• Maintaining and servicing station equipment and plant on the station.
• Repairs and maintenance of bores and water pumps as required.
• Ordering parts and gear to carry out servicing and repairs.
• Completion of scheduled servicing for plant and gear.
• Work with a modern fleet including Toyota LDVs, Kenworth prime movers, Isuzu trucks, CAT graders and loaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring equipment and plant on the station is regularly maintained and serviced.
• Repairs and maintenance of bores and water pumps as required.
• Ordering of parts and other gear needed to carry out necessary serving & repairs.
• Completion of scheduled servicing for plant and other gear
• Working with a fleet that’s not just any fleet – it’s all new and modern:
  • Toyota Land Cruisers
  • Kenworth prime movers
  • Isuzu body trucks
  • CAT graders & loaders

Required Skills & Experience:

• Appropriate trade qualification, mechanic or similar
• A current HR licence
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role
