Job summary

Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is seeking a Mechanic to join our Canobie station crew, located 200km north of Cloncurry. The role focuses on maintaining and servicing equipment and station plant, with opportunities to work on modern vehicles including Toyota Land Cruisers, Kenworth prime movers, Isuzu trucks and CAT graders.

Key requirements include a trade qualification or mechanic background, a current HR licence, and at least one year in a similar role.

• HR licence is required (current).
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong organisational and prioritising skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and station plant are regularly maintained and serviced.
• Repair and maintain bores and water pumps as required.
• Order parts and gear for servicing and repairs.
• Complete scheduled servicing for plant and gear.
• Work with a modern fleet (Toyota Land Cruisers, Kenworth, Isuzu, CAT).
