Job summary

Teys Australia in Biloela is hiring Meat Process Workers (entry level and skilled) to join our busy meat processing site. Roles include packing, trimming, boning, slicing, cattle intake, product grading and operating packaging equipment.

We offer full-time, permanent positions with a minimum of 38–40 hours per week, overtime and weekend work potential, and a supportive team focused on safety and progression.

Qualifications

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Experience as a Boner, Slicer or Slaughterman for Skilled Meat Worker roles – otherwise no experience necessary.
• Be willing to work in either cool or warm temperature environments.
• Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
• Be Q-fever vaccinated (or willingness to get).
• Be able to provide two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Packing, labelling and other general food production.
• Trimming, cutting, boning, and slicing of our meat products.
• Cattle intake and processing.
• Product grading and sorting.
• Operating equipment and machinery such as packaging and loadout.
• Picking and packing, general labouring or forklift driving.
• Cleaning, quality and hygiene.
