Job summary

Australian Country Choice is seeking a meat processing operator in Queensland. The role requires knife handling and sharpening skills and the ability to work up to 40 hours per week with potential Saturday overtime.

You will operate in a cold storage environment handling raw meat products, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability and precise workmanship. Training and progression opportunities are provided across ACC’s state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Knife handling and sharpening skills are required.
• Ability to work in cold storage with raw meat products.
• Must participate in functional capacity assessment and drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Work 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday overtime.
• Operate in a modern meat processing facility.
• Follow safety policies, PPE, and work instructions; maintain high quality workmanship.
• Participate in skills assessments and ongoing training.
