Job summary

Flinders Island Meat Pty Ltd in Port Melbourne (VIC) seeks a Meat Processor to join their team. This full‑time, permanent role offers 38 hours per week, with a salary in the range of AUD 79,500 to AUD 85,000 plus superannuation. Visa sponsorship nominations may be considered for eligible candidates.

Work location is on site in Port Melbourne. Experience in deboning, trimming, cutting and producing smallgoods, plus knowledge of food safety standards, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant meat processing role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meat for retail and production by deboning, trimming, cutting, slicing, mincing and portioning to required specs.
• Manufacture smallgoods (sausages and other products) by selecting and preparing meats and ingredients; prepare marinades and spice mixes.
