Job summary

NH Foods Australia is seeking an experienced laboratory technician for our modern export processing facilities in Queensland. The role involves on-plant sampling as well as testing and calibration within the NATA-accredited laboratory.

You will join an expanding red meat/food industry leader and develop your skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment with varied tasks and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NATA standards and industry experience in microbiology analysis of meat and meat by-products will be favourably regarded.
• Willing to undertake further training in lab techniques relevant to the red meat industry.
• Able to work a rotating weekly roster (4am–Midday, 6am–2pm, 8am–4pm).
• Availability to work some Saturdays if required.
• Own reliable transport is essential.
• Be vaccinated against Q-Fever or willing to participate in vaccination.
