Mind Australia is seeking resourceful Psychosocial Disability Support Workers for permanent part‑time roles in Wonthaggi, delivering personalised support under the Housing with Support program. You’ll work one‑to‑one, in groups, and with families to support recovery, skills development and daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Must have tertiary qualifications in Mental Health or related field.
• Experience working with people with psychosocial disability and families.
• NDIS knowledge required; WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Unrestricted Australian driver’s license and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support participants through recovery‑focused, staged approaches to develop personal skills and wellbeing.
• Plan and run group work programs to build skills and independence.
• Support families and carers with information, education and referrals.
• Build linkages to local supports and referral pathways to promote community living.
• Contribute to daily operations of the service, including housekeeping duties.
