Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to empower clients on their employment journey, helping them build confidence, job-readiness skills and secure meaningful work. You will collaborate with employers and internal partners to connect clients with opportunities and ensure compliant, sustainable outcomes.

The role emphasizes compassionate support, structured goal setting, and thorough record-keeping, with full training provided for those new to Employment Services.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or a client-facing role.
• A genuine interest in supporting people overcoming barriers.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders.
• The ability to stay organised and work in a structured, goal driven environment.
• A current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and coach clients through tailored activities that support their employment journey.
• Work with employers and our Employer Engagement team to connect clients with suitable job opportunities.
• Help secure sustainable employment outcomes and provide support when clients are at risk of losing work.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to link clients to the right programs and services.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all work meets compliance requirements.
