The Queen Elizabeth Centre (QEC) is seeking a Maternal and Child Health nurse to join the EPC Development Program. This part-time 0.5 FTE, 24-week program offers rotations across four clinical services at Noble Park and Hastings, with Victorian registration required.

You will provide specialised support and education to families, aiming to enhance parenting skills and child health outcomes, under supervision and with set learning goals.

Formación

• RN and RM with Victorian registration.
• Grad Dip or Masters in Child, Family and Health Nursing.
• Up-to-date knowledge of family and child health.
• Ability to partner with families to enhance parenting capacity.
• Experience in facilitating group education.
• Experience working with vulnerable families.
• Understanding of legislative requirements for at-risk children and families.

Responsabilidades

• Provide specialised support, care and education to enhance families' parenting competencies.
• Contribute to improving parents' knowledge, skills and attitudes regarding child health and development.
• Engage in rotations across four clinical programs (Residential, Day Stay, PASDS, Assessment and Intake) at Noble Park and Hastings.
• Participate in reflective practice, supervision and goal-setting with a clinical mentor.
