Job summary

The Mallee Family Care is hiring an MCFS Alliance Facilitator in Mildura for a part-time, fixed-term role until 30 June 2028. The role chairs Alliance meetings, coordinates local service delivery and supports cross-agency collaboration to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

The salary range is $67,906 to $90,822 (pro rata) with salary packaging options and occasional traveller requirements.

Qualifications

• A qualification in business or project management, or human services, with relevant work experience.
• Advanced Excel and data insight skills.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel, overnight stays when required.

Responsibilities

• Chair the MCFSA Alliance meetings and support alliance planning and oversight.
• Develop effective relationships between Alliance member agencies and with other sectors.
• Coordinate local/catchment service delivery and monitor capacity and demand.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and coordinate network development.
• Provide admin support across internal systems and applications to enable performance.

Job Description

Position Objectives

The Mallee Child and Family Services Alliance (MCFSA) Facilitator will support the Alliance as part of a broader integrated service system, which contributes to the wellbeing, safety and best interests of vulnerable children and families in our community. The role is responsible for supporting the functions of the Alliance, Chairing the Alliance meetings and required planning and oversight in consultation with various levels across the Alliance.

The MCFSA Facilitator Will Work With Both The Executive And Operational Membership Of The Alliance And Will Have Responsibility For Facilitating And Fostering

• Effective, collaborative and productive relationships and communication channels with and between Alliance member agencies.
• Alliance strategic and catchment planning.
• Effective coordination of service delivery at the local/catchment level.
• Network and partnership development, including effective linkages with other service sectors.
• Demand, capacity and service improvement identification, monitoring and evaluation.

The role will also provide administration support to Child and Family Services of MFC Family Services in all aspects of the operational use of internal systems and applications across the organisation. This includes promoting and driving the use of internal systems and applications, system implementation, resource management, continuous improvement and any required change to support performance through best practice and system development.

Part Time (21 hours per week) Fixed Term until 30 June 2028

This position has a salary range of $67,906 - $90,822 (pro rata)
