Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a responsible Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver to cover routes across the Hunter Region, delivering for local communities from Warabrook. You will operate our iconic red trucks, ensuring timely deliveries, safety checks, and professional customer interactions during day-to-day routes.

You’ll load and unload parcels, perform pre-trip checks, and follow chain-of-responsibility requirements with a strong focus on community service and reliability.

Qualifications

• Heavy vehicle driving experience
• Strong safety awareness and compliance
• Ability to load/unload parcels physically
• Good communication with customers and team

Responsibilities

• Safely loading your truck with cages for delivery.
• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
• Driving our modern trucks between operational centres and customers.
• Returning to operational centres to unload pick-ups.
