Australia Post is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver to deliver for communities across NSW. You’ll be the face of our trusted network, driving modern trucks between operational centres and customers, with a focus on safety, efficiency and quality service.
You’ll perform daily safety checks, load cargo, and support the local community with reliable delivery and pickup services. A valid MC heavy vehicle licence, fitness for duty, and pre-employment checks are required.
Being on the road with us at Australia Post means freedom, fresh air, and work that moves with you. Kick off your day surrounded by a great bunch of people before heading out to deliver for your local community. Wherever the road takes you, you’re backed by a team that values safety, supports your wellbeing, and gives you room to grow.
Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic red trucks to deliver for customers? As our Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!
You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality, who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.
It takes a lot of us to deliver for every Australian - and it’s important to us that our people behind the parcels reflect the people receiving them. We come from all walks. Different backgrounds, different ages, different genders, different sexualities and different abilities, but we all believe in the same purpose.
We welcome people all ages, genders and backgrounds – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We’re a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier-free. We’re also working hard to remove bias and build a gender-equitable experience for everyone who joins us. If you’ve got questions about accessibility, reach out to our Diversity & Inclusion team at ***************@auspost.com.au or on 03 8737 9***.
