Qualifications

• HC Truck Driver license required.
• Towing industry experience is a plus.
• Tilt tray operations experience preferred.
• Loading and unloading machinery experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Overtime and out-of-town travel may be required.

Job description

NQ Towing and Transport is a family-owned business operating throughout North Queensland. We provide a Towing & Transport truck service to our clients throughout the region.

We are looking for a HC Truck Driver to join our team at our branch in Cairns.

Our day-to-day workload would vary greatly and includes trade transfers including Vehicle Tows, Plant & Machinery, Containers and more varying freight movements.

Out of Town & on call rosters are a requirement in the role.

Required skills

• Towing Industry Experience highly regarded but not essential
• HC Licenses.
• Experiance with Tilt tray operations moving mobile plant & containers is highly regarded
• Experience with loading and unloading machinery.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changes on a daily basis
• Overtime and Out of Town required as part of the Daily duties
