Job summary

K&S Freighters, a leading Australian multi-modal transport and logistics provider, is hiring an experienced MC Driver for a permanent afternoon shift supporting a 24/7 operation. You will deliver liquid resin to Gympie and return MDF board to Brisbane as part of daily round trips.

Join a safety-forward team with comprehensive training on pumping, load restraint and NVHR procedures, working 1 truck with 2 drivers across AM/PM shifts.

Qualifications

• MC license and on-road experience required.
• Strong driving history and safety focus.
• Ability to pass medical and police checks.
• Knowledge of NVHR and load safety procedures.
• Team oriented: 1 truck shared by 2 drivers on AM/PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Make the daily round trip Fisherman Island to Gympie and back with MDF board.
• Drive a B Double tautliner with an under-floor tank.
• Unload resin by pumping into tanks and follow load restraint guidelines.
• Receive training on pumping and load restraint including auto air ratchets.
• Share one truck between AM and PM shifts: 1 truck, 2 drivers.

The Opportunity:

We have a permanent afternoon shift opportunity for an experienced MC Driver to support our busy 24/7 operation delivering liquid resin to Gympie and MDF board to Brisbane on the return leg.

You will:

• Make the daily round trip from Fisherman Island to Gympie picking up liquid resin and returning with MDF board.
• You will be driving a B Double tautliner with an under-floor tank.
• Unload resin by pumping into tanks and following load restraint guidelines for transporting MDF board.
• Receive comprehensive training on all pumping and load restraint including auto air ratchets.
• Share one truck between the AM and PM shift- 1 truck, 2 drivers.

What you'll bring:

• Current MC license and on road experience
• Strong driving history
• Ability to pass a medical and police check
• Safety focus and knowledge of NVHR and procedures
• Ability to work as a team - 1 truck, 2 drivers AM shift/PM Shift daily
