Job summary

K&S Corporation is seeking an experienced MC Driver for ongoing work transporting woodchips from a customer site in Caboolture, Queensland. There are day and afternoon shifts available to suit operational needs and you will utilise local road knowledge to complete runs safely and efficiently.

You will be trained and supported within a strong driving team, with emphasis on load restraint, vehicle checks, and compliance with transport regulations, while opportunities for growth and development

Qualifications

• Valid MC License and a good driving history.
• Experience operating and reversing B Doubles with local deliveries.
• Experience with walking floor trainers would be highly desirable (or willing to learn).
• Exposure to HML loading and transportation requirements an advantage.
• Knowledge of Southeast Queensland roads and geography.

Responsibilities

• Apply load restraints to meet safety requirements.
• Undertake pre-start vehicle checks.
• Undertake a low level of manual duties.
• Complete occasional Intra state deliveries when required.
• Work within load restraint guidelines and QLD Transport legislation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced MC Driver for ongoing work transporting woodchips from our customer site in Caboolture.

There are day and afternoon shifts available.

You will be delivering woodchips to customers around Southeast Queensland and will use your existing knowledge of the local roads to complete your runs efficiently and safely.

Receive training and support to grow your skill set and knowledge, operating within a well-established and hard-working driving team.

You will

• Apply appropriate load restraints to meet safety requirements
• Undertake pre-start vehicle checks
• Undertake a low level of manual duties
• Complete occasional Intra state deliveries when required
• Always work within load restraint guidelines & QLD Transport legislation
• Possess the flexibility to work either AM or PM shifts to support our operational requirements

What you'll bring

We're looking for an experienced MC Truck driver for 6am day shift and afternoon shifts commencing between 1 and 4pm, depending on the requirements.

You will have

• Valid MC License and a good driving history
• Previous experience operating and reversing B Doubles with local deliveries
• Experience with walking floor trainers would be highly desirable (or willing to learn)
• Exposure to HML loading and transportation requirements an advantage
• Knowledge of Southeast Queensland roads and geography.
