Job summary

K&S Freighters is hiring experienced MC Linehaul Drivers based in Brisbane to transport general freight, primarily steel and particle board, across interstate routes. The role emphasizes safety, professional conduct and reliable, high‑quality service within a modern fleet.

Applicants should have an MC licence with on‑road experience and a strong understanding of load restraint, with a proven safe driving record. Regional QLD coverage and a commitment to long‑term service are valued.

Qualifications

• MC licence with minimum 12 months on‑road experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of load restraint procedures and safe driving practices
• Experience with general freight (steel/board) considered a plus
• Clean driving history and RTA/licence checks required

Responsibilities

• Haul general freight interstate (mainly steel/particle board)
• Load/unload at customer sites and apply load restraints
• Perform pre-start checks and routine vehicle maintenance
• Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with regulations
• Utilise telematics to complete required tasks and reporting
• Take pride in truck and workspace and uphold safety standards

We have full‑time, permanent opportunities for experienced Multi Combination (MC) Linehaul Drivers to transport general freight (primarily steel & Particle Board).

What You'll Do

• Haul general freight (primarily steel & Particle Board) interstate
• Load / Unload Direct out of Customers sites and apply load restraint (straps, chains, maxi‑binder)
• Complete required tasks via telematics systems
• Complete pre‑start checks
• Maintain logbook compliance
• Take pride in your truck and workspace

What you'll bring:

We’re seeking experienced drivers based in Brisbane including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Regional QLD.

You will have:

• MC Licence with a minimum of 12 months on‑road experience (interstate experience highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of load restraint procedures
• Experience with general freight (steel highly regarded)
• Safe driving record (current RTA printout & valid licence required)
• BFM accreditation desirable (training provided if required)Stability of a national business.
