Job summary

K&S Freighters is expanding its interstate linehaul operations and seeks experienced MC drivers based across Australia. You will move general freight, predominantly steel, between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, using our modern, safety‑driven fleet and telematics to stay connected with dispatch.

Ideal candidates hold an MC licence with 12+ months on‑road experience, a solid load‑restraint knowledge base, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• MC Licence with a minimum of 12 months on‑road experience (interstate experience highly regarded).
• Strong knowledge of load restraint procedures.
• Experience with general freight (steel highly regarded).
• Safe driving record (current RTA printout & valid licence required).
• BFM accreditation desirable (training provided if required).
• Stability of a national business.

Responsibilities

• Haul general freight (primarily steel & Particle Board) interstate.
• Load / Unload Direct out of Customers sites and apply load restraint (straps, chains, maxi-binder).
• Complete required tasks via telematics systems.
• Take pride in your truck and workspace.

We have full-time, permanent opportunities for experienced Multi Combination (MC) Linehaul Drivers to transport general freight (primarily steel & Particle Board) interstate between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Our fleet is modern, well-maintained and purpose-built for safety, comfort and performance. With advanced in-cab technology, strong safety systems and experienced leadership who understand both the road and the bigger picture, you'll be backed by a business that blends driving expertise with hands‑on freight management.

We're seeking experienced drivers based between Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Northern NSW and Regional QLD.

You will have:

• MC Licence with a minimum of 12 months on‑road experience (interstate experience highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of load restraint procedures
• Experience with general freight (steel highly regarded)
• Safe driving record (current RTA printout & valid licence required)
• BFM accreditation desirable (training provided if required)
• Stability of a national business.
