Qualifications

• MC Licence in good standing.
• Two years' MC truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer freight in full and on time.
• Ensure compliance with Mass Management, Fatigue Management, Load Restraint and other company policies.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and sign the vehicle observation book.
• Secure loads prior to departing the depot.
• Drive in an economical manner and follow driver operations best practices.
• Maintain strong customer focus in all deliveries.
• Assist with distribution duties including loading/unloading.

We are seeking experienced, motivated and reliable MC Linehaul / Local Drivers to join our growing transport team based in Wetherill Park, NSW.

Available Positions

1 x MC Driver | Start Time: 2:00am

1 x MC Driver | Start Time: 4:30am

2 x MC Drivers | Start Time: 8:00am

About the role:

The successful candidate will perform duties including, but not limited to:

Responsible for the delivery of customer freight in full and on time

Ensure compliance with Mass Management, Fatigue Management, Load Restraint and other associated companypolicy and procedures.

Conduct and complete the daily checks for defects and safe operating conditions of the vehicle and sign the vehicle observation book.

Ensure loads are secured prior to departing the depot.

Drive company vehicle in an economical manner by adhering to the driver operations best practice.

Adhere to all road rules and regulations whilst on roads.

A strong customer focus is compulsory in meeting and understanding customer needs through the delivery of freight and services.

Assist with distribution duties (stock movements, loading / unloading of product into
racking, general duties etc.)

Attend industry specific training to maintain compliance requirements of the company

Assist with other duties as directed by management.

About you:

Have experience driving in the Transport and Logistics Industry.

A minimum of twoyears' experience operating an MC truck

A valid MC licence.

Have a clean traffic history

A sound understanding of Load Restraint.

Possess excellent organisational skills and time management.

Have a reliable personality and good work ethic.

Have a professional manner and presentation.

Have Dangerous Goods awareness.

Has a BFM Certificate
