Job summary

GTS Freight Group is seeking an experienced Local MC Driver in Adelaide, South Australia, with an immediate start and a 6am–2:30pm shift, Monday to Friday and occasional overtime. Training and induction will be provided.

Applicants must hold an unrestricted MC licence and have at least 2 years of MC linehaul experience. A strong safety mindset and reliable communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted MC licence.

• Reliable and enthusiastic.
• Clear communicator and punctual.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• BFM accreditation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Daily vehicle checks and fitness for duty.
• Delivery of allocated freight to required locations per customer time-slot.
• Load / unload trailers.
• Load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines.
• Refuelling and cleanliness of allocated equipment.
• Report mechanical faults, delivery issues, or delays.

We are currently seeking an experienced Local MC Driver to join our team! Immediate start – Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm with occasional overtime.

Duties Will Include But Not Limited To

• Daily vehicle checks and fitness for duty.


• Delivery of allocated freight to required locations as per customer time-slot.


• Load / unload trailers.


• Load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines.


• Refuelling and cleanliness of allocated equipment.


• Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays.

To be successful in the role you will possess the following attributes:

• Hold a current Unrestricted MC license.


• At least 2 years MC linehaul experience.


• Reliable and enthusiastic.


• Clear communicator and must be punctual


• Strong understanding and commitment to safety.


• Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation would be an advantage.


• Training and induction will be provided.

To be eligible for full-time employment you will be required to meet the following employment criteria which will include but not be limited to;

• Federal Police Check


• Full Medical and functional testing


• Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
