Job summary

Land Transport is seeking an experienced Interstate (long distance) Driver to transport general freight between our depots and customer sites across Australia. The role suits someone with strong geographic knowledge, flexibility, and pride in their work.

Qualifications

• Current MC licence.
• Minimum 2 years interstate driving experience.
• Experience with load restraint of general freight.

• DG licence or willingness to obtain.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain.
• BFM is essential

Responsibilities

• Transport general freight interstate between depots and customer sites Australia wide.
• Complete delivery paperwork including run sheets, pre starts, work diaries and daily paperwork.

In this role we are looking for an experienced Interstate (long Distance) Driver for the transporting of general freight between our various depots as well as our customer’s sites, Australia wide.

This role is suited to someone who has sound geographical knowledge, is flexible, enjoys seeing our country and who takes pride in their work.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have demonstrated experience in load restraint of general freight
• Has experience with various trailer types and combinations
• Must have a current MC licence
• Minimum 2 years interstate driving experience
• Be efficient in completing the necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets, pre starts, work diaries and all necessary paperwork to complete each day’s work
• The holding of BFM is essential
• DG Licence or willing to obtain
• Forklift licence or willing to obtain
