Austek Asphalt Services is seeking an experienced MC Float Driver to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. This full-time role contributes to delivery of road construction and maintenance services across South-East Queensland.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Heavy Vehicle (MC) licence.
• Must hold a Construction Card.
• Extensive experience operating low loaders and heavy haulage equipment.
• Strong knowledge of load restraint and traffic management practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to safety and a proven track record of safe work practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain low loaders and other heavy haulage equipment.
• Load and unload construction machinery unsupervised in urban or remote areas.
• Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Deliver equipment and materials to job sites in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety procedures and traffic management plans.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
