Job summary

Action Workforce, in partnership with Team Global Express, is seeking experienced MC Local Drivers for ongoing casual opportunities supporting B-Double shuttle operations in Queensland.

Competitive pay rate: $47.09 per hour plus OT. Ongoing casual employment Mon–Fri with a clear path to full-time for successful candidates.

Excellent working conditions with a safety obsessed culture and full on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MC Driver’s License.
• Extensive local knowledge of Queensland roads.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Competent in trailer coupling and uncoupling daily.
• Ability to complete pre-start checks at shift start.

Responsibilities

• Operate local MC freight runs to support B-Double shuttle operations.
• Perform pre-start checks at each shift.
• Provide reliable, safe driving and on-site customer service.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects.
• Follow safe work procedures and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hold a valid MC Driver’s License
• Extensive local knowledge
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Competent in Trailer Coupling & Uncoupling on a daily basis
• Ability to complete all pre-Start checks at the beginning of each shift

Skills & Experience:

• Experienced MC Local Driver
• Experience in commercial truck driving
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of Load Restraints
• Co-operate with your employer to ensure all safe work procedures are adhered to
