Job summary

PROTECH is seeking an experienced MC Driver for ongoing local haulage across the Perth metropolitan area. You will operate double trailer combinations between connected worksites with a focus on safety, compliance and operational excellence.

Essential duties include local Perth-based work, pre-start inspections, and safe transport of quarry materials. Candidates must have a current MC licence, a VOC assessment and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ MC driving experience.
• Experience operating double trailer combinations.
• Strong understanding of transport safety and fatigue management.
• Ability to complete VOC assessments including trailer maneuvers and hitching procedures.

MC Driver – Local Perth Work | Double Trailer Operations Protech is seeking an experienced MC Driver for ongoing local haulage work across the Perth metropolitan area. This role involves operating double trailer combinations between connected worksites and requires a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

• Hazelmere Transport Depot
• Tipper Truck & Dog work across a Quarry network

About the Role

• Local Perth-based work
• Operating double trailer combinations
• Ongoing work with immediate start available
• Safe and compliant transport of quarry and related materials
• Pre-start inspections and vehicle safety checks

Essential Requirements

• Current MC Driver’s Licence
• Minimum 2 years’ MC driving experience
• Experience operating double trailer combinations
• Ability to successfully complete a Verification of Competency (VOC) assessment, including:
  • Reversing a trailer combination safely
  • Trailer coupling and uncoupling procedures
  • Tug testing procedures
  • Verification of trailer pin lock engagement
• Strong understanding of transport safety and fatigue management

Mandatory Pre-Employment Requirements

• Current Commercial Driver’s Medical
• Current Driver’s Licence
• WorkSafe Online Fatigue Training certificate (issued within the last 12 months)
• Drug & Alcohol test completed the day prior to commencement
