Job summary

Austal Defence Australia (ADA) is seeking a Materials Management Lead to drive material codification, cataloguing and inventory data governance across complex defence programs from our Fremantle facility.

You will lead teams, collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain, ensure data integrity, support reporting and decision making, and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic, security-cleared environment.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in supply chain, logistics, defence or manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse material and inventory data to support business decisions.
  • Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance.

  • Lead/support material codification and cataloguing activities.
  • Maintain inventory and material master data integrity.
  • Partner with Engineering, Program and Supply Chain stakeholders.
