Job summary

Austal Defence Australia (ADA) invites applications for a Materials Management Lead to drive material codification, cataloguing, and data governance across complex defence programs.

You will partner with Engineering, Program and Supply Chain teams, lead a skilled team, and deliver accurate inventory and material master data while supporting business decisions. Eligibility for Defence Security Clearance is required.

You'll Need
Essential
  • Significant experience within supply chain, logistics, engineering, defence or manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse material and inventory data to support business decisions.
  • Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance.
Desirable
  • Qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related discipline.
  • Experience within Defence, Maritime or Heavy Manufacturing environments.
  • IFS ERP experience.
  • Knowledge of codification, cataloguing or asset management systems.
