We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Materials and Logistics Manager to join the K2 site team in Kwinana! In this role, you will be responsible for managing all material and warehouse activities, along with Expediting & Logistics.

Clough is delivering the design and construction of the Kwinana Gas Power Generation 2 project (K2), a new 220 MW gas fired power station to be built in Kwinana, south of Perth. K2 will deliver fast start, flexible generation to provide critical backup capacity that supports the increasing application of renewable energy across Western Australia.

Your focus will include:

• Promote and ensure that safety and environmental working practises are adhered to. Ensure that Safety and Environmental management systems (procedures, JSA, Method Statements) are followed. Minimise the exposure of risks to your team and the environment by identifying the hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages. Plan the required work permits and obtain the relevant approvals to commence the work.
• Management of project warehousing, site services activities, materials laydowns, & logistics activity with particular emphasis on management on warehousing and warehouse storage areas, including receipt, inspection, and dispatch of materials & equipment from site.
• Manage of materials stock levels and tracking records within Inventory systems for materials & consumable’s, associated logistics movement & storage location.
• Management of Purchase Requisition creation and Goods Receipt in the SAP system.
• Identify the required resources (manpower, tools, plant, permanent & temporary materials etc) in sufficient time to allow the required acquisition processes to be actioned.
• Management of all inbound Expediting & Logistics activities to ensure an on-time schedule.

What you will bring to the team:

• Previous experience in a similar position within a Construction environment.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Commerce or equivalent professional experience.
• Sound understanding of Cost and Stock Control coupled with Risk Analysis and Risk Management.
• Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a strong professional attitude to delivery high standards.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
