Job summary

Detmold Group is seeking a Materials Handler / Forklift Driver in Regency Park (SA) on a part-time 36 hours/week roster with rotating day and night 12-hour shifts. You will ensure materials are available, manage inventory, and move products safely across the site.

Join a small, collaborative team prioritising safety, reliability and continuous improvement while contributing to packaging solutions used daily across Australia.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence and ability to operate safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous warehousing or manufacturing experience with stock movements and loading.
• Good attention to safety, detail and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supply raw materials to production and manage stock movements.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack and despatch customer orders.
• Complete stock transfers, inventory counts and system transactions.
• Maintain warehouse organisation and inventory accuracy.
• Complete required documentation and support HACCP and quality standards.
• Identify hazards and contribute to a safe workplace culture.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Materials Handler / Forklift Driver to support our manufacturing operation and help keep production moving efficiently.

As part of our small, collaborative team, you'll be responsible for ensuring materials are available when needed, inventory is accurately managed, and products are safely moved throughout the site.

This is a hands-on role where teamwork, reliability and a positive attitude are highly valued.

Essential

• Current Forklift / Mobile Plant Licence
• Previous warehousing or manufacturing experience
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures

Desirable

• Kanban experience
• Grab Forklift experience
