Job summary

Rugby World Cup Australia (RWCA) is seeking a Match Operations Coordinator to support planning, coordination and delivery of tournament matches in line with World Rugby regulations and player welfare requirements. Based in Sydney, the role reports to the Match Operations Manager and works across Rugby Operations, including venues,match officials, medical, integrity and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in event operations or sports administration.
• Knowledge of rugby is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of Match Operations plans.
• Prepare and quality-check run sheets, manuals, and briefing materials.
• Help develop match operations policies, procedures and tools.
• Coordinate onboarding, training and deployment of Match Management personnel.
• Support venue planning, readiness activities and site visits.
