Job summary

Port of Brisbane is recruiting for Master Support Craft positions (casual and permanent). Roles involve operating a range of vessels from bed levelling units to survey vessels, tugs and barges, with ongoing training and career development.

You’ll hold an AMSA Master <24m NC and a Marine Engine Driver Grade 3 NC, with desirable High Risk Work Licence, Dogging, Rigging and C6 tickets. Overtime, weekends and public holidays possible.

Qualifications

• AMSA Master <24m NC and Marine Engine Driver Grade 3 NC valid.
• High Risk Work Licence, Dogging, Rigging and C6 tickets desirable.
• Experience in bed levelling activities, interpreting survey data and executing works per project specs.
• Commitment to safety leadership and accountability for assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support vessels including bed levelling units, survey vessels, tugs and barges.
• Maintain safety standards and compliance during operations.
• Participate in pre-job checks and post-job reviews to improve processes.
• Contribute to ongoing mentoring and career development within the team.
