Job summary

A family-owned garage in Northampton is looking for an experienced Master Technician to join their team. The role includes in-depth electrical and mechanical diagnostics and providing technical guidance. Essential qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and a valid UK driving licence. Competitive salary up to £50,000, with potential OTE of £55,000 and great benefits. No Saturdays required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Master Technician or Senior Technician.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Experience working in a garage environment.

Master Technician – Northampton

Basic Salary: up to £50,000

OTE: up to £55,000

Monday to Friday Only, No Saturdays

Our client, a long established and reputable family owned garage in Northampton, Northamptonshire have the requirement for experienced Master Technician / Senior Technician / Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team.

Master Technician / Senior Technician / Vehicle Technician Responsibilities

As a Master Technician / Senior Technician / Vehicle Technician responsibilities will include:

• In depth Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics and Trouble Shooting
• Provide Technical Expertise and guidance to the workshop team
• Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to the highest standards
• Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
• Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Current, proven and stable Master Technician / Senior Technician work experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own Tools

Desirable Requirements:

• Manufacturer Master Technician / Senior Technician / Diagnostic Technician Accreditations
• EV/Hybrid Qualifications
• MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

On Target Earning of £45,000 - £55,000

Overtime available paid at 1.5 (Time and a Half)

Monday to Friday only

No Saturdays
