Job summary

A busy franchised dealership in Salisbury is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team. The role offers a basic salary of up to £37,000, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000, and a great benefits package including 30 days holiday and manufacturer training. Candidates must have at least Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and 2 years post-apprenticeship experience. A full UK driving licence is required, and additional desirable qualifications include an MOT Licence.

Qualifications

• Experience of at least 2 years post-apprenticeship as a Vehicle Technician.
• Possession of a full and clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards.
• Perform Cam belt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements.
• Conduct Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics.
• Handle Mechanic Warranty Repairs.
• Perform MOT Tester duties to DVSA standards if qualified.

Our client, a Busy Franchised Dealership in Salisbury, has the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their established workshop team. Vehicle Technicians – Mechanics coming back to the motortrade are most welcome.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities
